Wow! We made it through the first week! Can't believe it! Well, here's hoping the second will be as good as the first (maybe better)...

Who said 2 is better than 1?
Talk about a day!
We almost made it through the week without slipping. Almost. Well, we kind of did and kind of didn't. Trying to make contact with a bunch (50) of college students scattered all over the Southeast, kept Mom up too late. Just in case you don't know this: if you are trying to put together a Sunday School class for college students, many you do not know, Facebook is a wonderful ministry tool! I found 40 on Facebook and actually made contact. Wonderful. But, anyway...

Fourth & goal to go!
Well, we have been able to keep the momentum going so far. Three days behind us and 2 more to go. Can we do it? YES we can! :)

Wednesday...another testing: one, two, three.
Day three. Another kind of schedule. This day Mom works and we go to church. Also, we had a friend who needed a place to go after school, so that threw a little hitch in our schedule. But, remember I said this year, we would be more flexible, less stressed. (Remind me of that motto in a couple of weeks, OK?)
Testing...one, two, Tuesday!
Our second day of homeschooling was going to be a real test. I did not have to go to work on Monday, so it made the first day of school a breeze. I was a little worried about how our schedule of Mom's Work Days would work out.
Great Beginnings!
Well, our annual Labor Day Beginning Of School was a success! Our annual field trip to start the year did not happen, due to finances, but we had a great day!
